Who should do it?

Once upon a time, there were four people. They had interesting names: Anybody, Somebody, Nobody and Everybody.

One day, there was a person who was in need of help. Well, Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done the job and helped out, but Nobody did it. Everybody got angry and upset because it really was a job for Anybody. Everybody thought that Somebody would end up doing it, but Nobody realized that Nobody would actually help. So, Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could do.

When we see people on here who are hurting, do we often times dismiss them and say 'oh well, someone will note them' and what not? Or do we take a moment to reach out and let them know we care? I am not saying that you need to help EVERYONE, but why not note someone once a day who posts here and let them know you care and are willing to listen/help them out, if need be?
